For many years steam cleaners have suffered from the O rings on joints such as steam sockets, extension tubes and steam guns becoming very dry and making it difficult to connect them to hoses, tools etc.

Because Steam is such a good degreaser it is no use trying to lubricate them with grease. For years Steam Cleaner users have been told to use petoleum jelly or Vaseline  to lubricate these joints. This has worked but is far from satisfactory for long term use.

For this reason we at Steam Clean Systems have developed a special lubricant for O rings which is now available from the shop on this site and will be supplied free of charge with all new machines purchased.
